Have you ever experienced a challenge in your life and it seems like it is never going to end? You prayed about it and gave it to God to handle and it seems like nothing is changing. You feel like you are in a holding pattern. Every time you feel that you are going to have a breakthrough it never manifests. Then doubt begins to creep in and you ask God, how much longer must I endure this? Lord, you said the battle is not mines, but yours. How long do I have to stay in this pit? When will I be free? In times like this we must encourage ourselves and trust God to handle our problems. We need to remember what God said in his word that he will never leave us nor forsake us. These are the times when our faith is tested, and we must remember that God’s got this.
I was having a pity party a few days ago about a situation I have been dealing with for a while. Then God had to remind of all the times he has been there for me. As I was praying he reminded me of how he healed me from a kidney infection, how he protected me and my unborn baby in a car accident, and how he comforted me when I lost my mother. When God started to remind me of all the times he has been there for me, it changed my pity party to a praise party. Why do we doubt when we know God has never let us down? I think we doubt because things do not happen when we want them to happen. Remember that God’s ways are not our ways. He can handle all our problems. He already has a solution and we need to be patient. As it says in Psalm 46:10, Be still and know that I am God. This means we need to get out of God’s way and trust that he is working everything out for our good. God got this! He is already worked it out. He is just waiting on us to let go and get out of the way.
The next time trouble comes your way, pray about it and give it to God and watch him work it out. His ways are better than our ways. Remember Joseph who brothers sold him into slavery and how God used his pit for his glory. Joseph went from the pit to the palace. He ended up being Pharaoh’s right-hand man. We need to learn to rejoice when trouble comes our way. We have a God who can change our pity party to a praise party. God’s got this! He has already worked your problem out, just turn it over to him and praise him for the victory.

I totally agree. I think because we are in flesh we react first. We have the tendency to forget God knows all even before it happens.
