I am in the process of writing my next blog and I started to think about God. Particularly the scripture, “What is man that you are mindful of him.” (Psalm 8:4) God is so good and he is the good shepherd who will not let His children stray too far away from Him. He always knows how to get our attention and He loves us very much. Sometimes I can’t help but ask God, “Why?” Why do you love us when we continually fall short, stray off the path and mess things up? But thank God for His love, because what would the world be like without it. So below is some of my thoughts about God.
When I Think
When I think of the goodness of the Lord, I can’t help but praise His name.
When I think of the power of the Lord, I can’t help but exalt His name.
When I think of the beauty of the Lord’s creation, I can’t help but glorify His name.
When I think of His grace and mercy, I can’t help but raise my hands in honor to Him.
When I think of His love, I can’t help but give Him a shout of praise and dance around His throne.
When I think of His peace, I can’t help but bow down and worship Him.
When I think of His joy, I can’t help but magnify Him.
I will praise the Lord at all times. I will never stop singing his praises.
Humble people, listen and be happy, while I brag about the Lord.
Praise the Lord with me. Let us honor his name.
